Mike Walmsley
Mike is Provide’s Strategy Advisor.
There aren’t many who have worked in the recruitment industry for as long as Mike Walmsley has – 21 years in fact. In that time, Mike has grown a 3-man recruitment company into a worldwide operation; filmed, directed and written the world’s largest collection of recruitment training DVDs; founded the Managing Director Development Programme for the industry’s elite; and become so highly respected for his expertise, he also manages to travel the world as a keynote speaker and presenter to recruiters throughout the globe.
Mike is now non-executive Director at Provide and advisor to the board. His work ethic and integrity fit perfectly with Provide’s culture whilst his ambition, drive and appreciation of working with sharp business minds is naturally aligned with Provide’s Directors.
Mike’s key role will be in the strategic direction of the company, providing support and insight, check and balance; helping to develop the company’s brand – and its people – for continued competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Mike’s passion for this industry is inspiring but even with this dedicated enthusiasm, Mike always finds time for his family. As a father of two young children, Mike always finds time to watch the kids play sports (and participate in a little Dad v Dad football) and of course, enjoys the odd game of golf too.
